Information about this experience
Cleopatra – The Immersive Exhibition is a large-scale immersive exhibition that combines archaeology, historical research, and advanced digital technology to explore the life, reign, and legacy of Cleopatra, the last queen of ancient Egypt. The exhibition blends archaeological artifacts with holograms, 360° film projections, virtual reality, a freely explorable digital metaverse, and interactive installations. Visitors embark on a journey back to the 1st century BC, accompanied by rich historical narratives, curatorial expertise, and the latest immersive techniques.
"Immersive" describes an effect in which the viewer is immersed in a multimedia illusion of image and sound and perceives it as real. Using a 3D mapping projection system, content such as graphics, animations, images, or videos can be projected onto three-dimensional objects, creating a unique atmosphere.
Photography and filming are permitted in the exhibitions for private use. Please do not use flash, tripods, or other equipment, and be careful not to disturb other visitors.
Commercial use of the photos is not permitted (in this case, please contact us by email).
Dogs (and animals) are not allowed in our exhibitions unless they are trained assistance dogs.
If you would like to bring your assistance dog, please show the appropriate proof at the entrance.
Access Information
Visitors with a severe disability ID card receive a ticket discount (see ticket provider).
If your ID card includes the symbol B, your companion will receive free admission (no separate ticket is required).
Please bring your disability ID card with you as proof of your disability status to your visit.
Our exhibition rooms are accessible without barriers and can be visited with a wheelchair, walker or other mobility aids.
Parking spaces for people with disabilities are usually located in the immediate vicinity of the exhibition hall (please contact our team on site to use these parking spaces).
Please note: No wheelchairs are available for loan on site.
We make the voiceover for the immersive show available for download in advance, so that the spoken content can be read or prepared independently of the visit.
The VR experiences are primarily musical and atmospheric. Spoken content plays a minor role; text versions of the VR content are not currently available.
Our exhibitions are strongly visually oriented. The immersive show uses large-scale projections, changing lighting moods and light effects, which are a central part of the experience.
For blind visitors, therefore, acoustic and spatial impressions are paramount. We do not currently offer audio-descriptive guidance, tactile elements, or specially prepared content.
Even people with visual impairments can still experience the exhibition, particularly through music, sound, spatial awareness, and atmosphere. We recommend visiting with a companion to enhance the experience.
The immersive show features changing light intensities, projections, contrasts, and some dynamic lighting effects.
People with light-sensitive epilepsy, severe light sensitivity, or similar health conditions should carefully consider whether the experience is suitable for them before visiting.
If in doubt, we recommend skipping certain program items or visiting accompanied by an adult.
Children under 6 years of age receive free admission and do not require a separate ticket.
Please note the age rating information on the website of the respective ticket provider.
Please also note that the premises are not accessible for strollers.
